I build applied ML systems for disease forecasting.

I work at the intersection of machine learning and infectious disease epidemiology: leakage-safe evaluation, rare-event modeling, calibration, and interpretable diagnostics. My current focus is county-scale early warning for Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) H5N1.
